MBA student Cristina Markiewicz is a perfect example of CLU student commitment to making a difference. Like many graduate students, Markiewicz has successfully balanced a career and college responsibilities. But Markiewicz is also a volunteer.

In the Winter 2011 term, Dr. Gerhard Apfelthaler presented a special topics course on global social entrepreneurship. Working with CURE Pharmaceutical, students were tasked with analyzing ways to facilitate pharmaceutical distribution within disadvantaged regions.
