Exciting News! Introducing Kimberly Wright
Kimberly is a Southern California native. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University (SDSU) in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Upon graduation from SDSU, she immediately went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Counseling with a specialization in College Counseling and Student Services from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Kimberly has had a wide range of experience advising traditional and non-traditional students in local community colleges and 4-year institutions.
Much of her research interest focused on the utilization of technology in counseling and advising non-traditional adult student learners in higher education. Kimberly is a firm believer that the support, encouragement, and guidance that professionals in higher education provide can make all the difference in an undergraduate student’s experience and success.
Kimberly is currently working on completing her clinical work to become licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC). When Kimberly is not advising students, she enjoys hiking, instructing spin classes, practicing yoga, exploring cultures through travel, and spending time with her family.
