Student Representative Breakfast!
The reason for this is simple — after meeting with many of our students at student representative breakfasts and at our meet and greets, one of the common concerns raised was the lack of “programming” at the off-site campuses. Additionally across the board there was a desire for opportunities for growth and development outside of the classroom.
In order to address both areas, we are holding our student representative breakfast at the Oxnard campus on Saturday, October 26th. We are also offering a workshop (“After Your Degree, Now What?”) and a job/grad school panel (with representatives from business and psychology sitting on the panel).
Our hope is that you will attend the student representative breakfast and stay for the workshop & panel (the panel and workshop are being held twice, so you can attend both).
If you do not wish to attend the student representative breakfast, but would like to attend the workshops, you are welcome.
Winter term we will hold our student representative breakfast at the main campus during the work week. In the spring we will hold the breakfast (plus workshops) at the Woodland Hills campus on a Saturday. We are very excited we are having these workshops as we know many of you have had questions about graduate school and/or plans after CLU. We all know what a busy time of year this is, but this is a great opportunity to take a break from school work.
We hope you can make it on the 26th. Don’t forget to RSVP to 805.493.3543 or firstname.lastname@example.org so that we know how many people to expect!
