Paz Winshtein is a Southern California resident who studied drawing and painting at Laguna College of Art and Design and California Art Institute. Her body of work consists mostly of paintings and ink drawings.
The human form is her main vehicle of expression although animals and machines are also featured prominently. The technique of her oil paintings is a direct and simple application of paint using thick layers, so often the shapes and textures of the paint are just as important to the piece as the subject matter. er line drawings are less meticulous- free expressions of thought, clean and whimsical.
Admission is free. Sponsored by the art department. For more information call Michael Pearce at (805) 444-7716 or visit callutheran.edu/kwan_fong
