Artist Jennifer Vanderpool will speak about her work and the Garment Girl Project.

Jennifer Vanderpool speaks about the practice behind her exhibition Garment Girl, on display in the Kwan Fong Gallery through Feb. 28. Her work has been supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Ohio Arts Council, Kunstrådet: Danish Arts Council, Kulturrådet: Swedish Arts Council, and Malmö Stad. For her community arts work, Vanderpool and the UCSB Isla Vista Liaison were awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America grant. She is currently an adjunct lecturer in the Art Department at Cal Lutheran.
