Join us for the opening of “Art at the Service of the People: Puerto Rico’s DIVEDCO Poster Art” at the Kwan Fong Gallery. The collectors Thomas Anderson and Marisel Moreno, who loaned the exhibition from South Bend, IN, will be in attendance to answer questions about the works, on which they are experts.
The reception will be preceded by a lecture about the poster art, the films they related to, and the incredible influence this body of work had on Puerto Rican culture in the 20th century.
Sponsored by the Cal Lutheran Artists and Speakers Series.
