Specifically, we work with a population of squirrel monkeys (<em>Saimiri collinsi<\/em>) that we have monitored since 2000, in Eastern Amazonian Brazil. We test hypotheses using naturalistic observations on wild monkeys and molecular ecology tools to better understand their social\u00a0structure, reproductive behavior and dispersal patterns.
